Liza has extensive experience as a Registered Nurse and Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.  The last 10 years she has been a practicing Hospitalist for the Ohio Permanente Medical Group at Summa Health System.  Her collaboration and involvement with medical and nursing staff is focused on continuity of care and quality outcomes for the patient.

Liza received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Akron and her Master of Science in Nursing from Kent State University in 1997.  Prior to earning her Masters, Liza worked in the Emergency Department at St. Thomas and Akron City Hospitals.  She has been a Clinical Nursing Instructor at the University of Akron and continues to work part time as a Nurse Practitioner at Oriana House.
