Deana earned her Master of Science in Nursing as an Adult Nurse Practitioner from Kent State in 2001. Prior to that, she was an RN specializing in critical care and telemetry for eight years. After graduating with her masters, Deana worked at a Primary Care practice for a year before joining The Heart Group in 2002. Deana is ACLS certified and a member of Sigma Theta Tau which is the national honor society for nursing. Deana sees patients at the Ravenna campus and the management of Heart Failure is of special interest to her.

Deana and Dr. Rubin started and are involved in the Heart Failure Clinic at Robinson Memorial Hospital.
