| Melanie is Director of Pacemaker and Arrhythmia Services for NEOCS.
Melanie graduated from Kent State University as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in 1994 and her nursing career has essentially been focused in pacing and electrophysiology. Recognized as a leading expert in her field, Melanie has numerous publications and is a prominent international lecturer. Melanie, who is currently on the writing committee for NASPExAM, (the certification examination in pacing and electrophysiology), was past Chair of the Council of Allied Professionals of The Heart Rhythm Society, formerly known as NASPE (North American Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology).
Melanie was the recipient of the Heart Rhythm Society’s Distinguished Service Award in 2002. Melanie and the Pacemaker & Arrhythmia Service staff are part of the electrophysiology team, providing services to our patients with cardiac arrhythmias, pacemakers and ICDs. |
