Dr. Dorfman's teaching appointments include Assistant Clinical Professor, Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine (Rootstown) from 1984 to present. Scientific society memberships include Fellow, American College of Cardiology, American College of Physicians and American Society of Internal Medicine. Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in 1982, he became certified in Cardiovascular disease in 1985. Dr. Dorfman was Governor of the Ohio American College of Cardiology, 2003-2006.
