Dr. Silver is the Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) and Co-Director of the NEOCS nuclear testing program.

Dr. Silver was awarded the Outstanding Resident Educator by the University of Massachusetts. In 2010 he received the Heart Champion Award from the American Heart Association.

Dr. Silver is currently Director of the Coronary Care Unit at Akron City Hospital and Medical Director for the Cardiovascular Diagnostic Center, and is Associate Professor of Clinical Internal Medicine at NEOUCOM in Rootstown, Ohio.
