The University of South Florida College of Medicine. Residency was done at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston and trained as a Clinical Fellow in Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Fellowship training was completed at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, specializing in cardiology and advanced cardiac imaging.

Dr. Rubin specializes in echocardiography and has written many publications and abstracts. He contributed a chapter to The New Cardiology: Textbook of Cardiovascular Management for Clinical Practice and has given many presentations on echocardiography and cardiology. Professional affiliations include memberships in the American College of Cardiology, The Ohio State Medical Association, and the American Society of Echocardiography.

Dr. Rubin joined The Heart Group, Inc. in July 1999. Dr. Rubin is married with one child.
