Emergencies


In the event of an emergency, call 911 if you feel that your condition is life threatening.

If you believe your situation is urgent, but not life threatening, go to your hospital of choice. You may call your doctor's office at any time. Before and after regular hours we use an answering service. State your urgent matter and your physician or the doctor on call will be contacted promptly.

NEOCS physicians are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They rotate coverage on weekends, holidays, and vacations.

Health Tip: Warning Signs of a Heart Attack

A heart attack occurs when blood flow to the heart is restricted, typically by a blockage in an artery. Most people know that if they have unexplained chest pain, they should seek immediate medical help.Time is muscle.

A person can experience one or several of these symptoms.

"Typical Symptoms:

  • feeling of pain or pressure in the center of the chest
  • squeezing or feeling of fullness or discomfort
  • shortness of breath
  • nausea
  • sweating
  • dizziness
  • fatigue
  • pain radiating to jaw, shoulder or left arm
