James Hodsden, MD, FACC, of The Heart Group, is currently medical director of the Echocardiography Laboratory and Cardiac Rehabilitation at Akron General Meedical Center and medical director of AGMC's Coronary Care Unit. Dr. Hodsden is now president of the American Heart Association Board of Directors, effective July 1, 2005. Previously president of the board of trustees for the American Heart Association Akron division, Dr. Hodsden graduated from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and completed his medical residency in internal medicine at Akron General Medical Center.
